The JUMPS Team investigates the North Bend Hose Co. 4. This two story fire department built in 1904 has reports of strange activity in several areas of the building. Several people reported hearing pots and pans bang, footsteps following them up the stairs, strange bangs and the feeling of being rushed down the steps. All of the activity is reported to be coming from the stairs and the upstairs meeting area / kitchen. There were also reports that a man hung himself in the hose tower approximately 25-35 years ago. Research is still underway with no evidence to support the claim.
The team started off the investigation at 10:00 PM after a brief walk through sweeping each area for EMF and temperature readings. Two wireless night-vision cameras were used. One was placed at the top of the stairs pointing down and one in the kitchen filming the counter top. Three hours and seven minutes of footage was recorded. Ten knocking sounds , two bump sounds, sounds of footsteps moving around the room and a camera malfunction at the precise time an EVP was caught on a digital voice recorder. All team members took time with each investigator and did EVP work, took digital photos, and handheld video sweep of the meeting room, kitchen area, and the hose tower. The two lead investigators also swept the upstairs alone.
